This song was written by Brian Scott and co-produced by J. Robbins. J felt it had a real Buzzcocks feel to it - like their song “Why can’t I touch it” - without being too similar.

Oddly, Brian had never heard that song. He had to ask J. - “Is that a compliment..?” to which J. replied…”The Buzzcocks F'ing RULE!”

I’ve been trying to find balance in life and in myself for as long as I can remember. Anxiety underpins much of who I am, and is something that has ruled my entire adult life. As I’ve gotten older and wiser I’ve come to find that accepting that this is “who I am.”

I am anxious. I can’t sit still. I am terrified of the future, but excited for it as well.

Regardless of how much I’ve fought it, life is like a river… the current is stronger than me. I can’t outswim it. It always will pull me through the rapids, downstream and over the waterfall.

It’s inevitable. Yet I’ve realized that after the fall, I always find balance and figure out how to get back on track.
